Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan or Sundar Picha (Indian-American business executive) is more well-known. He is one of the chief executive officers (CEOs) of Alphabet Inc., its subsidiary Google, and was born in Madurai in India.[4] Pichai received his degree in metallurgical engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He earned an M.S. in the United States following his move to the United States. from Stanford University in materials science as well as engineering. He further earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he was named a Siebel Scholar and an Palmer Scholar, respectively.Pchai began his career as a materials engineer. After a brief time working for the management consulting firm McKinsey & Co., Pichai joined Google in 2004 as a product manager. He directed the product management and development efforts for a variety of Google's client software products which included Google Chrome and ChromeOS as well as being largely responsible for Google Drive. Pichai also oversaw the development of Google Maps, Gmail, and other applications. Pichai made public in 2010 that Google had made the open-source video codec VP8 and had also launched WebM which is a brand new video format. The Chromebook was released in the year 2012. In 2013, Pichai added Android to the list of Google products that he managed.
